Celebrity Chef Burgers
Beginning September 1, 2026, BRED Brand’s Cambridge location, BRED BAR, is bringing together some of Boston’s top culinary talent for its monthly Chef Burger Series, featuring original, limited-edition burgers and a different charitable cause each month.
Running through the end of 2026, the series invites a different Boston-area chef to collaborate with BRED’s Chef Tambo Barrow on an original burger available exclusively at BRED BAR. Twenty percent of sales from each featured burger will be donated directly to a charity selected by that month’s chef.
SEPTEMBER | CHEF RYAN SKEEN, THE BEEHIVE
The series kicked off with Chef Ryan Skeen of The Beehive and his Croque Monsieur Burger, layered with bacon, Gruyère, Mornay sauce and a fried egg on a brioche bun. Twenty percent of September sales benefited The Greater Boston Food Bank, coinciding with Hunger Action Month and supporting the organization’s work addressing food insecurity throughout Eastern Massachusetts.
OCTOBER | CHEF MICHAEL SCELFO, THE LONGFELLOW BAR
For October, Chef Michael Scelfo of The Longfellow Bar joins Chef Tambo for the Longfellow’s Burger, featuring shaved ham, charred onion relish, sweet pickle aioli and Muenster cheese. Twenty percent of October burger sales will benefit Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign in Boston.
NOVEMBER | CHEF LAMBERT GIVENS, HUNTERS BOSTON
In November, Chef Lambert Givens of Hunters Boston joins Chef Tambo for a stacked burger featuring two 3 oz. smashed patties, crispy onions, bacon, New School American cheese, serrano aioli and sliced avocado. Twenty percent of November burger sales will benefit Boston Boy's and Girl's Club, selected by Chef Givens.
The Chef Burger Series builds on BRED BAR’s reputation for bold, chef-driven burgers while giving each collaboration a larger purpose. Check back each month for the latest chef, burger and charitable partner.
